The Suhr Badger is a single-channel amplifier designed to interact dynamically with your guitar’s volume control and adapt to your playing style. Thanks to its cathode-biased power section, this amp delivers dynamic, punchy tones without the need for adjustments when replacing the power tubes.

Exceptional tonal response thanks to adjustable power

The Suhr Badger’s Power Scaling system delivers the sonic response of a high-power amplifier while allowing you to play at manageable volumes. This mechanism controls the voltage supplied to the output section, reducing power while preserving tone and feel.

• POWER: Reduces the voltage to the power section to play at low volumes without losing tone.
• DRIVE: Adjusts the input level of the power section, acting as the master volume when power is set to maximum.

Flexible controls for optimal customization

The Suhr Badger offers a variety of controls for fine-tuning the sound.

• GAIN: Adjusts the amount of preamp gain using two cascaded gain stages.
• TONE CONTROLS: The post-gain bass, midrange, and treble controls allow for passive adjustment to achieve the desired tone.

We recommend starting around 5 for each tone control and adjusting to your liking. When increasing the Gain or Drive, it’s advisable to reduce the bass to maintain clarity and definition in the low end.
