The quality - aesthetic and acoustic - of the woods (two-piece basswood body, bolt-on neck in roasted maple, roasted maple fingerboard), pickups and hardware (Suhr V60 single-coil and SSH+ humbucker pickups, SSCII system, traditional Gotoh 510 vibrato, Suhr locking tuners, stainless steel frets) and finishes are simply perfect.
If you're looking for an exceptional instrument with outstanding ergonomics, there's every chance that this is the instrument of your dreams. The Standard Plus features a passive SSCII Silent Single Coil circuit that attenuates hum in the 60Hz range without altering the identity of the pickups.
