In a compromise between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, Walnut has a well-balanced bass/midrange/treble frequency balance, combined with remarkable clarity. The Laurier of which the fingerboard is made is a high-quality alternative to Rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian rosewood.
