Universal audio UAFX OX Stomp Dynamic Speaker Emulator

Successor to the OX Amp Top Box, the compact UNIVERSAL AUDIO UAFX OX Stomp Dynamic Speaker Emulator generates the most authentic speaker cabinet simulations and microphone pickups ever integrated into a processor.
Thanks to Universal Audio's exclusive dynamic speaker modeling technology, speaker cabinet tones and behavior are reproduced in the finest detail, right down to the saturation of membranes and cones when the speakers are pushed to their limits (a phenomenon that impulse responses fail to reproduce). The UAFX OX Stomp not only offers simulations of condenser, dynamic and ribbon microphones impeccably positioned in front of the speaker cabinet, but also - thanks to dynamic room modeling technology - a wide range of ambient microphones. In addition to these models, the OX Stomp lets you sculpt your sound with effects such as the 1176 compressor, flat reverb, chorus, flanger, three types of delay, and a four-band EQ with high and low cut filters.

The UAFX Control application makes it easy to replace speaker cabinets and microphones, fine-tune effects, assign presets/RIGs, and configure switches to change sounds or effects on the fly.

The UAFX OX Stomp is therefore the ideal complement to your rig, whether you're using a simple pedalboard, an amp modeler, a multi-effects unit or a preamp. It's important to know that the OX Stomp has no power attenuation circuit, so it can't be used between an amp and its speaker cabinet. Typically, it will be positioned downstream of your pedalboard, after an amp emulation pedal such as Dream'65, Woodrow'55 or Ruby'63 (to stay with Universal Audio!).
