The popularity of digital products has enabled many guitarists to reduce the size of their equipment and access a multitude of sounds at the touch of a button. Despite the considerable progress made by the latest high-performance digital systems, two fundamental elements are still missing: the feel of a tube amp and its interaction with a speaker cabinet in a live situation.
The recent craze for FRFR speaker cabinets shows that musicians prefer practicality to authenticity. But we believe we've bridged the digital/analog gap with the PowerValve 200; our mission is to create the ideal complement for all users of modellers, preamps and pedalboards,
allowing them to add the authentic tube sound for which Victory is renowned, and thus rediscover the pleasure of using a real speaker cabinet. The principle behind the PowerValve 200 is simple: connect the output of any modeler, preamp or pedalboard via a 6.35 mm jack cable to the balanced input of the PowerValve. Then adjust input levels and EQ, activate the tube circuit and plug your guitar into a speaker cabinet to hear the sound it deserves.
