Electric guitar amp cabinet
VICTORY AMPLIFICATION V112-CC (Cream) is a 1x 12 / 65 watts / 16-ohms compact extension speaker cabinet equipped with a Celestion G12M-65 Creamback.
A highly portable rig when paired with V40 The Duchess and Sheriff 22. Can also work with V30 The Countess, BD1 and RD1 if you want less aggression and a more 'vintage' feel than the V112-C. Will also work with the The Sheriff 44 and V40 Deluxe.?
?
The G12M-65 Creamback is less sensitive/efficient (97dB) than the Vintage 30 and also the H-75 Creamback, using a medium-magnet (35 ounce) 12-inch driver. Celestion regard it as a 'more powerful Greenback' and that is the perfect description. Expect that classic, 'woody' tone and feel to add colour to your medium gain sounds, with a little speaker breakup to boot… albeit with a full 65 watts power handling which is 40 more than the standard Greenback. Compared with the 75-watt Creamback, the 65 is less sensitive/efficient so sounds less loud at equivalent amp volume settings. It has more colour to the tone overall, a looser bottom end and breaks up earlier.
We recommend it for anyone who likes classic low/medium gain tones at low/medium volume; or who likes plenty of speaker 'give' and colour at higher volumes. We think it works perfectly with the V40's unique dynamic and feel.
