The Yamaha CSP-295 GP is a high-end digital piano from the Clavinova CSP-200 series, designed to offer a perfect balance between aesthetics, sound performance, and modern technology.
This digital piano, with a design inspired by a grand piano, combines the elegance of an acoustic instrument with Yamaha’s technological prowess. Thanks to the Smart Pianist app and its sounds derived from Yamaha’s prestigious CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand pianos, the CSP-295 GP offers an immersive and intuitive musical experience for both beginners and experienced pianists.
Expanded Media Compatibility
The Yamaha CSP-295 GP is fully compatible with the Smart Pianist app (iOS/Android), a true smart control center. It allows you to control the instrument, view sheet music, follow chords, and even enjoy automatic accompaniment. The piano also features Bluetooth Audio and MIDI, ideal for streaming your favorite songs from your smartphone or tablet directly to the built-in speakers.
Fast and Intuitive Navigation with Smart Pianist
The Smart Pianist app offers a smooth and user-friendly interface for easily controlling all the CSP-295 GP’s features. Whether you’re adjusting sounds, recording your performances, or exploring over 400 built-in songs, everything is accessible with a single tap. The light guide system above the keyboard illuminates the keys to play, making learning much easier.
Advanced technologies for a realistic piano experience
The Yamaha CSP-295 GP features samples from the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand pianos. Thanks to Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) and Grand Acoustic Imaging technologies, the instrument faithfully reproduces the natural resonances of a grand piano. The spruce-diaphragm speaker system, identical to that used in Yamaha acoustic pianos, delivers rich, balanced sound for a fully immersive experience.
Next-Generation Reliability and Ergonomics
Equipped with the GrandTouch™ keyboard featuring natural wood keys and an 88-Key Linear Graded Hammers system, the CSP-295 GP offers a touch of remarkable precision, reproducing the progressive resistance of the hammers in a real grand piano. The action ensures optimal playing comfort, regardless of dynamic range. Its compact and refined grand piano design makes it an instrument that is as enjoyable to play as it is to admire.
Optimized Sound Quality
The sounds of the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial are sampled with extreme precision to deliver a realistic acoustic experience, even when using headphones, thanks to Binaural Sampling technology. VRM (Virtual Resonance Modeling) reproduces the resonance of the strings and soundboard, while Grand Acoustic Imaging recreates the natural spatial quality of a grand piano’s sound. Multi-channel amplification delivers deep bass, clear mids, and bright treble, ensuring perfect balance.
