The YAMAHA TRBX505 TWH 5x-string solid-body electric bass is further proof of Yamaha's commitment to excellence, even in entry-mid-range instruments. Its solid mahogany body is sculpted in 3D to optimize sound/comfort ratio and weight redistribution.
The 24-fret bolt-on neck, made from 5x alternating pieces of maple and mahogany, is a model of ease. Combined with an ultra-flexible active/passive disengageable circuit made of gold-plated elements (for flawless conductivity), Yamaha H5 Quad-Polepiece AlNiCo pickups deliver a clear, open sound, capable of reproducing every nuance of playing.
