Japanese brand JICO has worked hard to offer vinyl lovers and DJs a replacement for the famous Shure M44-7 and N44-7 cartridges and diamonds, legends in the history of hip-hop and scratching.
This JICO J44A-7 DJ SD moving magnet cartridge, with its high output level enabling it to be used with the majority of phono preamps on the market, offers performance equivalent to the Shure M44-7 cartridges of the time, with powerful bass and a smooth, balanced sound. Its 1/2" mounting interface makes it a highly versatile cartridge, which can be mounted on most cartridge holders on the market.
The N44-7 DJ SD stylus, with its Type S tubular aluminium cantilever precision-machined to match Shure cantilevers as closely as possible, combined with an integral (bare) synthetic diamond specifically designed by JICO, offers excellent guidance in the vinyl groove and increased resistance to playback jumps.
