Effects processor

The Phoenix Audio Theata is an 8-channel instrument/DI preamplifier with integrated analog summing, designed for modern hybrid studios. It's designed for producers, electronic musicians and sound engineers who want to centralize their sources with high-end analog quality. It lets you amplify, route and mix your signals with precision and musicality. A premium choice for structuring and enriching your studio workflow.

Features

8 Class A instrument preamps

Each channel offers precise, open amplification thanks to a high impedance of 10 MΩ. You capture the full dynamic range of your synths, guitars or machines without signal loss. Ideal for preserving the character of your instruments.

Analog gain and saturation

With 30 dB of gain per channel, you can adjust the level and add character where necessary. You can switch between clean sound and warm saturation to suit your style. Perfect for bringing digital sources to life.

Integrated analog summing

Combine your analog signals for greater depth and punch. The result is broader and more coherent than a DAW-only mix. Ideal for structuring a mix or creating subgroups.

Flexible channel routing

Each input can be assigned to the left or right bus. You can easily create submixes or custom configurations. This simplifies the management of complex studio setups.

Output with Phoenix transformers

The DSOP-2 stage combined with transformers brings richness and musicality. You get an analog sound signature inspired by vintage consoles, with added depth and character.

Complete signal control

Each channel features a variable high-pass filter, pad, phase inversion and ground lift. You can precisely adapt your signal to each source without the need for external equipment.

Stereo width control

Adjust the stereo image of your mix. Expand or contract as needed. Useful for balancing a mix or creating more space.

Insert busses for external effects

You can integrate hardware compressors or equalizers into your chain. This adds extra analog processing to the final mix.

Expansion and advanced configuration

The linking bus allows you to connect two units for up to 16 channels. You can adapt your system to suit the size of your studio and your needs.

Studio nerve center

With its numerous inputs and outputs, the Theata centralizes your audio routing. It simplifies your workflow and improves the overall quality of your productions.
