Alto TMD 16

Alto Professional's TMD16 is a compact 16-channel digital mixing console that combines professional performance, advanced ergonomics and an affordable price.

Designed for musicians, technicians, rehearsal rooms, studios and live venues, it offers a fluid and precise mixing experience thanks to its clear interface, 100 mm capacitive faders and 7" color screen surrounded by numerous encoders and control buttons. Intuitive and reassuring, the TMD16 represents an ideal evolution for users coming from analog, retaining familiar landmarks while bringing the power and flexibility of digital.

Professional mixing architecture

The TMD16 has been designed to offer advanced mixing capability to all user profiles, without the need for complex configuration. Its high-performance digital mixing engine handles up to 16 inputs and 12 independent outputs.

It features 10 digital microphone preamps, for detailed reproduction of vocals, acoustic instruments or live takes, 3 stereo line inputs ideal for keyboards, audio players or electronic instruments, and 1 Bluetooth audio input for wireless broadcasting from a smartphone or tablet. On the output side, the TMD16 offers 2 balanced XLR main outputs for the overall mix, 4 auxiliary/FX sends for returns or external processing, 4 configurable subgroups to organize the mix by section (drums, backing vocals, instruments, etc.) and 1 pair of jack outputs dedicated to monitoring. Each input channel benefits from 3-band parametric EQ, a built-in compressor and a high-pass filter to eliminate unwanted frequencies. The outputs feature 7-band graphic EQ and a compressor/limiter, perfect for adapting the system to the room's acoustics, optimizing a broadcast or fine-tuning a monitor system.

A clear, tactile and responsive control interface

For a direct, efficient mixing experience, the TMD16 features a rich control surface, but without too many menus. Essential functions remain accessible from the front panel: 10 clickable 360° encoders for instant adjustment of gain, EQ and effect sends, plus backlit buttons for quick identification even in low light.

Capacitive 100 mm touch-sensitive faders offer mixing precision and an analog console feel, with all the flexibility of digital. Every movement is accompanied by immediate visual feedback, both at the edge of the fader and on the 7" color display, which shows levels, pans, routings, effects and compression indicators in real time. This intuitive design allows both sound engineers and casual users to navigate quickly, intervene at a moment's notice during a performance, and maintain total control of the mix without ever losing track.

Modern, versatile remote control

Adapted to today's uses, the TMD16 integrates both Bluetooth connectivity and a 2x2 24-bit / 48 kHz USB audio interface. This means you can stream audio wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet, record a concert or broadcast stereo audio directly from a computer.

Thanks to the Alto Pro Mix Control App (iOS / Android), you can control the console remotely: adjust levels, mutes, scenes, all from a smartphone or tablet. Whether you're on stage, in the control room or on the road, you're always in control of your mix.
