Digital mixing desk
Allen & Heath SQ7+ is a digital mixing console designed for sound engineers, contractors and AV installations looking for a powerful, fast and reliable solution. Thanks to its XCVI 96 kHz FPGA engine, it offers high-resolution audio processing with extremely low latency, perfectly suited to live, broadcast and complex setups. Its modernized touchscreen interface, numerous stereo mixes and integrated effects facilitate both front-of-house and monitoring work. It's the ideal high-end solution for touring, live venues and demanding productions.
Features
High-performance 96 kHz XCVI engine
The SQ7+ is based on the XCVI FPGA processor developed by Allen & Heath for dLive systems. This architecture can process up to 48 channels with a latency of less than 0.7 ms. You benefit from a precise, dynamic and coherent mix, particularly useful for live, broadcast or audiovisual applications requiring high reactivity.
High-resolution mixing with great flexibility
With its 48 inputs, 36 outputs and 12 configurable stereo mixes, the SQ7+ adapts easily to complex configurations. You can manage in-ear monitors as well as groups or auxiliaries without having to multiply external equipment. This versatility is perfect for modern live performances and evolving setups.
9" touchscreen and optimized workflow
The new graphic interface and 9" capacitive touchscreen enhance the speed of use during mixing. Channels can be freely organized with custom names and colors to create a clear and intuitive working environment. Physical controls, LED bar graphs and assignable keys also facilitate rapid intervention in live situations.
Integrated DEEP plug-ins and RackExtra effects
The SQ7+ integrates the renowned DEEP processing and several Allen & Heath stereo effects engines. You get direct access to compressors, preamps, reverbs, delays and modulations without adding latency or relying on external computers. This integration simplifies setup while improving overall mix quality.
Advanced connectivity and scalability
Thanks to the SLink and I/O ports, the console can accommodate Dante or Waves cards and connect to Allen & Heath stageboxes with up to 48 mic inputs. You can easily integrate the SQ7+ into an existing infrastructure, or expand your system according to the needs of your performance.
Integrated multitrack recording
The SQ-Drive system allows you to record a concert in stereo or multitrack directly to a USB stick or external hard disk without a computer. The console also functions as a 32x32, 96 kHz USB audio interface for DAW recording, virtual sound check or streaming. This solution reduces the amount of equipment required for live performances.
Integrated automatic microphone mixer
The integrated AMM makes it easy to manage multi-microphone environments such as conferences, TV shows or corporate events. Since processing is directly integrated into the console, no additional latency is added. You get cleaner, more intelligible rendering without complex configuration.
