Bass combo amp
Last July, Black Sabbath bid a final farewell to their hometown of Birmingham, at a historic concert attended by fans, family, close friends and major metal figures. For this symbolic date, Geezer Butler, pillar of the band and emblematic user of Ashdown amps, asked the brand to design custom purple and black baffles, specially designed to accompany his signature Head Of Doom head (HOD-600).
A few weeks later, Ozzy Osbourne passed away, sealing the end of an era.
Today, Geezer Butler and Ashdown continue this legacy with the Combo Of Doom (COD), a bass amp made in the UK, echoing the aesthetics of these unique cabinets and embodying Geeze's sonic vision: a raw, massive, organic sound without compromise.
The UK-COD-PURPLE12 is a 200-watt bass combo made in the UK, featuring a high-end Sica 12" speaker, smooth and musical overdrive, effects loop, balanced DI output and headphone output. An amp designed for stage and studio alike, true to Ashdown DNA and Black Sabbath's sonic heritage.
