The ASHDOWN The Saint Artisan features a 40 mm-thick poplar body, enhanced by a flamed maple top. Its roasted maple neck and fingerboard, featuring 20 stainless steel frets, provide a clear and dynamic acoustic sound, ideal for all bassists.

Rich, responsive tones for all styles

This bass produces clear, dense, and responsive acoustic tones thanks to its combination of materials. The lows are precise and punchy, while the mids remain balanced and the highs are crystal-clear. Additionally, poplar—an economical alternative to alder—is ideally suited for the construction of mid-range instruments.

Enhanced craftsmanship for better performance

The kiln-drying process applied to the maple gives the instrument an elegant patina and improves its stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance. It also protects it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.

A set of pickups for warm, rich tones

Equipped with a set of pickups featuring AlNiCo V magnets, The Saint Artisan offers an appealing configuration, with a J-Bass-style pickup at the bridge and a P-Bass-style pickup at the neck.
