The Saint Artisan’s construction features a 40-mm-thick poplar body paired with a stunning flamed maple top, while the bolt-on neck and fingerboard are also crafted from torrefied maple, accented with 20 stainless steel frets. Together, these elements produce clear and dynamic acoustic tones, with precise bass, balanced mids, and crystalline highs.

High-Quality Materials for Optimal Performance

Poplar, used as an alternative to alder, is widely available and economical, making it a preferred choice for the manufacture of entry-level and mid-range instruments. In addition, the kiln-drying process not only gives the wood an elegant patina but also improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance while protecting it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.

A powerful pickup set for versatile tones

Equipped with a set of pickups featuring AlNiCo V magnets, the ASHDOWN The Saint Artisan features a J-Bass-style pickup at the bridge and a P-Bass-style pickup at the neck. These pickups deliver dynamic, warm, and well-defined tones.
