Volume, boost & expression effect pedal
The BENSON AMPS Germanium Boost compact pedal for guitar and bass features a circuit to correct transistor "failures" (which can be caused by excessively high operating temperatures).
Once powered up, the Germanium Boost takes around ten seconds to become fully operational, the circuit analyzing the signal and adjusting any Bias problems in the Germanium transistor.
The Germanium Boost is very effective for boosting and saturating your amp, especially if it's a tube amp. It's also great for combining with other saturation pedals to stack up the layers of grain. Bassists will also find it a pleasure, and if the sound of your acoustic lacks body, it's an excellent solution for breathing new life into it.
