The Sawbones is a full-featured, noise-free optical compressor from Bolt & Forge, ideal at the beginning of your signal chain as a tone conditioner or boost. As well as adding no noise to your signal, the Sawbones is transparent, which means it leaves the sound of the rest of your equipment untouched while you set the desired level of compression. A studio-quality JFET rail-to-rail operational amplifier, combined with the ability to operate up to 18 volts, means you'll never have headroom problems.
