Fortin amps Zuul+ Noise Gate - Blackout

Compatible with guitar and bass, the compact FORTIN AMPS Zuul+ Noise Gate Blackout pedal is an evolution of the most transparent noise gate on the market. In addition to the Threshold potentiometer, the ZUUL+ offers Hold and Release controls. Hold determines how long the gate remains active, while Release sets the time it takes to close. Fortin has also added Key and Key Thru inputs. Equipped with a Buffer, Key triggers the noise gate as soon as your guitar signal is sent. The Key Thru input means you don't have to split the signal to send it to other pedals placed before the amp (it's associated with a ground selector). The traditional use of the Zuul+ is to place the pedal in the effects loop (before a delay/reverb to avoid their alteration by noise gate). Simply connect the guitar to the Key input and the rest of the Pedalboard to the Thru input. The pedal is thus positioned upstream in the chain of pedals on the amp's front panel, but is connected in the loop so that it can act equally well on a clean or saturated sound.

When the LED is red, the noise gate is closed; when it's green, it lets the signal through.
