Thanks to recent Tube Logic enhancements, tone, response and feel are even richer, including a new Pushed amp sound that radical fans will love. The BOSS Tone Studio app has also been enhanced to make editing amp sounds and effects even more intuitive. Filled with inspiring sound tools and offering several connection options, your Katana Gen 3 will become an indispensable part of your playing in the studio, on stage or for everyday practice.
The Katana-100/212 Gen 3 projects rich, three-dimensional sound thanks to 100 watts of Class AB power and two special 12" (30 cm) speakers.

Katana Gen 3 amplifiers feature five essential, simultaneously-activated effects categories from the vast BOSS sound library. These Booster, Mod, FX, Delay and Reverb sections are accessed from physical parameter controllers, with three variations for each, bringing the total number of effects available to 15.
Enhanced BOSS Tone Studio software for macOS and Windows provides access to additional settings for the 60 built-in effect types and other parameters not accessible from the amp's front panel. And with the optional Bluetooth® Dual MIDI Audio Adapter, you can listen to music from a mobile device and edit sounds wirelessly using the BTS Editor app for iOS and Android.
Katana Gen 3 amplifiers offer today's musicians numerous connection possibilities and powerful tools. Tone Setting memories are dedicated to saving and recalling complete amp setups and associated effects, and the rear panel allows connection of footswitches and an expression pedal. All models, except the Katana-50 Gen 3, are compatible with GA-FC and GA-FC EX footswitches for easy live control on stage.
