What does the sound engine offer?

Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR technology manages piano sounds and various behaviors associated with an acoustic piano, including string resonance and the resonance produced by the sustain pedal. The PX-S1100RD offers 18 tones with a maximum polyphony of 192 notes.

The layer and split functions allow you to play two sounds together or assign different sounds to specific zones of the keyboard, respectively. Effects such as the hall simulator, surround sound, chorus, and brilliance control round out the sound capabilities.

Can you play directly without external speakers?

The piano features two 16 x 8 cm speakers powered by a 2 x 8 W amplifier. Therefore, no additional audio system is needed for playing at home or practicing alone.

For a more complete setup, two line outputs allow you to connect the piano to an external amplifier, a mixing console, or a compatible audio interface. Two headphone jacks are also available for silent practice.

What can you record directly on the piano?
