Reverb, delay & echo effect pedal
Typical band echo delay pedal, hypersensitive to dynamics, it doesn't digitize the guitar signal. It reproduces the delay times of the EchoPlex EP-3, from 80ms for a perfect slapback to 800ms for playing like Brian May! The Echo Delay setting reproduces the movement of the playback head on the tape, Echo Sustain controls repeats up to self-oscillation, Sway controls the appearance of "floating on the tape", Tone controls the "recording level" or the force with which you "tap on the tape", for a light and airy or thick and saturated sound. It also adjusts the volume of the first repeat. An internal gain control adjusts the gain and volume of the Belle Epoch, up to a fuzzy boost. An internal selector switches it to true bypass or trails mode. It can be powered from either 9V or 18V for greater dynamics.
