Volume, boost & expression effect pedal
At Catalinbread, we call theEpoch Boost "the mastering pedal" because it sounds as if your basic sound has been perfectly sculpted by a mastering engineer. This is due to the use of the same internal circuitry as a real EP-3, from the NOS Orange Drop capacitors to the output mixing stage that acts as a frequency selector, it's all there! Catalinbread has taken the liberty of increasing the internal voltage to 22 Volts, like the original, for greater dynamics and clarity. Inside is a selectable hi-Z input buffer in case you want to use your Epoch Boost as the only pedal. Setting Boost to minimum gives you just the EP-3 sound, and adds up to 20dB of ultra-clear boost as you increase it.
