Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
Discover the CORNERSTONE MUSIC GEAR Centurio (Dual Overdrive), an overdrive pedal that reimagines the legendary Klon Centaur while adding modern features for discerning guitarists.
Overview
The Cornerstone Centurio is a high-end analog overdrive pedal, designed to deliver exceptional performance and enhanced flexibility. Inspired by the circuitry of the iconic Klon Centaur, this pedal features two distinct channels—Normal and Hot—each with independent gain and volume controls to suit all your musical needs.
Two Channels for Unmatched Sonical Versatility
The Centurio’s Normal channel closely resembles the classic Klon overdrive, with remarkable note definition and warm mids—perfect for enriching the tonal character of your tube amp. In contrast, the Hot channel offers an extra level of gain, ideal for more powerful distortion and extended sustain that will delight blues-rock guitarists seeking maximum expressiveness.
Multiple controls for sound customization
The Centurio is equipped with several features that allow for optimal sound customization, including:
- A Bright switch to adjust the clarity of the Hot channel without affecting the Normal channel.
- The Clip control, which lets you choose between germanium diode clipping and MOSFET clipping, thereby modulating the tone’s texture and dynamic response.
Convenience and Efficiency for the Modern Guitarist
Dedicated footswitches for each channel make it easy to transition from a smooth rhythm tone to a powerful lead tone without needing to readjust settings. Additionally, an external control input is included for remote control, making the Centurio ideal for live performances.
