Solid body electric bass
Twenty years ago, Cort collaborated with Rob Elrick, the world-renowned luthier best known for his Elrick e-volution. To mark the thirtieth anniversary of Elrick Bass Guitars, Cort is reactivating the partnership with the CORT Elrick NJS 4 White solid body electric bass. The NJS (acronym for New Jazz Standard) is an exceptional contemporary reinterpretation of a great American standard.
Featuring premium vintage/modern lutherie (Alder body, bolt-on neck and 24-fret maple fingerboard, zero fret), top-of-the-line electronics and hardware (Bartolini pre-amp, Voiced Tone VTB-ST noise-free pickups, Metalcraft bridge, Hipshot machines), and ideal ergonomics (contoured "Heel-Less" heel), it should win unanimous praise from even the most uncompromising musicians.
In place of the usual saddle, a zero-fret is fitted (which is retained for correct orientation of the strings towards the tuning machines), but allows you to change string gauges without having to make the necessary readjustments with the latter.
