Crazy tube circuit HI Power Overdrive

By coupling two circuits simulating a Hiwatt amp and a Colorsound Power Boost pedal, the remarkable CRAZY TUBE CIRCUIT HI Power Overdrive / Boost ambitiously aims to reproduce the legendary tones of David Gilmour. The HI Power therefore features two completely independent sections that work together. On the right-hand side of the pedal you'll find a recreation of the Colorsound Power Boost with a BC184 transistor operating at 18V DC (internal voltage boost circuit). The Baxandall two-band equalizer is extremely flexible. The HI Power outclasses the original with a disengageable master volume control, a "reverse-log" gain potentiometer that guarantees smoother transitions between clean and saturated, and a switch that activates a modified version of the vintage pedal's Overdriver parameter (more gain, less headroom). On the left of the box is the "Hiwatt" section, which impressively reproduces the sound and responsiveness of British amps. Three-band equalization, a strategically integrated presence in the power stage simulation, a two-position selector allowing you to opt for the high amplitude/dynamics of a 100-watt power section (quartet of EL34s) or for the more measured, compressed sound of a 50-watt power section (pair of EL34s)... nothing has been left to chance to ensure that HI Power delivers absolutely authentic playing sensations.
You can even choose between the massive frequency response of the original amp's Normal channel, the increased presence and tighter bass frequencies of its Bright channel, or combine the two!

A passive effects loop completes the picture, allowing you to integrate your favorite pedals, or dissociate the two Hi Power circuits using an external switcher.
