When the Tubedreamer was launched in 2006, Jam Pedals wanted to recreate the best 808-type overdrive pedal. The Tubedreamer mk.2 delivers warm, rich and precise overdrive, with finely tuned midrange that stands out in the mix without ever sounding muddled or aggressive. Better resolution at low gain means finer control where it matters most, offering a wider range of tones that can be exploited at low gain.
At the heart of the Tubedreamer is the legendary JRC4558D chip, like the most sought-after vintage models. An asymmetrical 3-diode clipping stage enhances touch sensitivity, responding naturally to playing nuances. New to the mk.2: a diode clipping-free mode offering a more open, dynamic and amp-like response, with increased power reserve and clarity.
