Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
Inspired by the B.K. Butler Tube Driver and equipped with an ECC832 preamp tube, the CRAZY TUBE CIRCUIT Venus is a must-have flexible saturation pedal. From a Blues breakup to generous overdrive and bleeding fuzz, the Venus is as versatile as it is powerful. Three-band EQ provides precise frequency control, and a dedicated ECC832 bias potentiometer adjusts compression and saturation levels. The Venus produces organic, warm and complex tones, authentically in the tradition of a tube amp. You can replace the factory ECC832 with any other dual triode tube types like ECC83/12AX7, 5751, ECC81/12AT7, 12AY7, ECC82/12AU7 to refine the grain to your liking. A line driver/buffer switch ensures that dynamics and signal clarity are maintained throughout the chain. A "bypass/engage pre-set" function lets you "program" the status of the pedal when it's powered up.
