The CRAZY TUBE CIRCUIT Orama is an Amp-In-Box pedal that combines two independent circuits, which can be activated independently or combined: The left side (AMP) reproduces the legendary tones of the Orange OR120 amp for characteristic sounds of the late 60's/early 70's (think Peter Green, Andy Powell or Noel Gallagher). The right-hand side (FUZZ) provides the fuzz saturation of a legendary Boutique Pedal from the 1990s, the Frantone Peachfuzz. If you're looking for heavy rock, grunge, stoner and doom sounds, you'll be hard pressed to find a more powerful processor.
The AMP section is a JFET circuit with an internal 34V DC power boost that gives the Orama the behavior of an authentic amplifier, with optimal harmonic complexity, amplitude, reactivity and punch (the pedal is nevertheless powered via a 9V DC block). The settings allow you to adjust gain and EQ in depth, with a hyper-extended but always musical range of control over your tones.
The FUZZ section is simpler but not lacking in flexibility. The specific and sophisticated circuit configuration provides you with potentially thick and powerful saturations, complex but also more discreet and subtle. A "bypass/engage pre-set" function lets you "program" the pedal's status when it's powered up.
