Electric guitar strings
XS Nickel Coated strings boast the longest life of any D'Addario electric guitar string. These top-of-the-line electric guitar strings benefit from our revolutionary XS coating, which gives them maximum life and a smooth, fast feel without muffling their remarkable tones. Incorporating a NY Steel core, reformulated nickel-plated steel fillet, and Fusion Twist technology, XS Nickel strings enjoy superior strength and tuning stability, with richer harmonics, improved clarity, and remarkable definition in every note, slide and bend. This set of 12-52 Light string gauges includes a 3rd string (G) with purfling, to provide extra tension for drop tuning or traditional jazz setups.
