The PRIME 4 G2 can render stems directly on the device. This means it’s not necessary to prepare each track in advance in Engine DJ Desktop, although that option is still available.

The Instant Acapella and Instant Instrumental buttons let you quickly isolate the vocals or instrumental track. The pad’s Stem modes, Stem Level EQ, and Stem FX then provide access to more precise editing.

This feature allows you, for example, to remove the vocals from a track to create a transition, place a vocal part over the instrumental track of another song, or apply an effect only to selected elements.

Velocity- and pressure-sensitive MPCe pads

The 16 MPCe pads use three-dimensional multi-zone detection. A single pad can thus handle multiple functions or parameters depending on the zone touched, the pressure applied, and the velocity.
