Moog, and its creator Robert Moog, are considered by many to be the forerunners in the development of electronic music.
Since 1953, many synthesizers have been produced by Moog, including the famous Minimoog. Moog has also given a new lease of life to the theremin, an instrument dear to the brand's history. Indeed, the first instruments marketed were kit theremins. Moog's reputation is also due to the artists who used Moog synthesizers in their songs: Beatles, Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Wendy Carlos...
Although its creator, Bob Moog, passed away in 2005, the brand continues to produce instruments that are more innovative than the others, and more and more accessible in terms of price.
