The EARTHQUAKER DEVICES Special Cranker is an evolution of the Speaker Cranker overdrive saturation pedal, acclaimed for its great responsiveness. It has been designed to deliver more grit and volume (twice the output level of the Speaker) without fundamentally altering your original sound, while keeping your amp's performance intact.
With the Special Cranker, your solos will be richer in harmonics with exacerbated sustain, power chords will be thicker and racier, and enriched chords will be perfectly detailed. A diode selector allows you to opt for an asymmetrical silicon circuit (more modern, brilliant tones with more volume) or germanium (more subdued response with tamed highs and attenuated volume). 100% analog circuit, handmade in the USA.
