The EASTMAN E1SS (Truetone Satin Sunburst) is a traditional Dreadnought "Slope Shoulder" type steel-string acoustic guitar with an exceptional acoustic quality/finish/price ratio, made from solid woods selected with ostensible care. Sitka spruce top, Sapele back and sides, mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard. Sapele is a West African wood offering acoustic characteristics similar to those of mahogany, with considerably more brilliance. It grows rapidly and abundantly, making it particularly attractive to manufacturers.
