Epiphone IBG Flying V 70s - maui blue

The EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson Flying V 70 solid body electric guitar (EIFV7MBNH1) reproduces, at a very affordable price, the sounds of the mythical original Gibson Flying V in its historic seventies period. Initially released from Gibson's workshops in 1958, its design was not immediately successful and few examples were produced for the first batch (hence their incredible value on the vintage market). It wasn't until about a decade later that it was adopted by renowned musicians, including Rockers such as Jimi Hendrix, Marc Bolan, then Michael Schenker, James Hetfield, K.K. Downing, Steve Jones and others.
It features a mahogany neck with the characteristic scroll reinforcement of the era, an Ebony fingerboard, a Rounded C neck profile and a duo of Epiphone T-Type PRO pickups. These double-coils are an iteration of Gibson's eponymous models from the late 60's/early 70's. They produce ideal compromise tones between vintage clarity and modern punch.
