Single cut electric guitar
From his early days with the Yardbirds to his many collaborations and recording sessions (Jeff Beck Group, Beck, Bogert & Appice...), Jeff Beck has left an indelible mark on rock history as one of the most innovative, singular and influential guitarists the world has ever known.
Immortalized on the artwork of his first album, his original 1954 Gibson Les Paul is an iconic instrument known as the "Oxblood" because of its unique dark chocolate color. It sold for an incredible $1.3 million at a recent auction. In 2009, the Gibson Custom Shop offered a replica in a limited edition of fifty, which was highly sought-after on the collector's market, so it's excellent news that this Jeff Beck Oxblood 1954 Les Paul EPIPHONE (ECJB54AOXNH3) is offered at an attractive price. This is a top-quality instrument developed under the supervision of the Gibson Custom Shop. Its features take up point by point the specifications of the original version: mahogany body with maple top, glued "long neck tenon" neck in solid mahogany (Large C profile), 22-fret medium-jumbo rosewood fingerboard and quality hardware (Gibson Historic Wraparound bridge, Graph Tech low-friction nut, Schaller M6 90 tuning machines). The pickups are Gibson USA Custombuckers connected to CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, with 50s-style wiring.
