The EVH 5150III® Hypersonic 6L6 2x12 Combo (2256216010) is a new-generation model built around a powerful digital processor that faithfully replicates the sound and dynamic behavior of the original EVH 5150III 6L6 tube amplifier. With fifty watts on tap and two Celestion® EVH® G12H 30W loudspeakers, plus the great advantage of reduced weight and lower maintenance costs, the 5150III® Hypersonic is also equipped with additional controls for even greater flexibility. Three channels remain as on previous versions, but channels one and two each have their own EQ via concentric potentiometers. You'll also find two noise gates and the usual Reverb, Presence and Resonance controls, while the included footswitch lets you manage channels, reverb and effect loop. Finally, the 5150III® Hypersonic features a power attenuation circuit (six options), a balanced XLR line output with speaker cabinet simulations (IR) and a Mute selector for silent recordings.
