Inspired by the master's personal model, the EVH Wolfgang Special QM (5107701596) solid body electric guitar has the ideal characteristics for rock/metal soloists: a responsive, generous guitar that reproduces Van Halen's massive, expressive sounds at a very reasonable price.

Basswood body with curly maple top, bolt-on neck and torrefied maple fingerboard, Fender Stratocaster-style 25.50 scale, 22 jumbo frets, EVH Wolfgang Direct Mount pickups, Bourns potentiometers, double-lock vibrato with D-Tuner low E bridge (to switch from E to D).

Basswood is an excellent wood species, used by many manufacturers for its lightness and acoustic qualities. Basswood bodies produce thick tones with a well-balanced frequency balance, remarkable dynamics and definition.
