One of the finest backline amps ever conceived, the Fender '65 Twin Reberb electric guitar combo amp is an 85-watt combo-style tube (6L6) guitar amp with 2 12" Jensen speakers, 2 channels, reverb and tremolo. 1965 Twin Reverb is the amp that put Fender on the map. This model is perfect when you need power and clean sound. Introduced in 1952, the Fender Twin is a reference amp universally recognized for the quality of its clean tone. It has been revised many times (functionally and cosmetically), sometimes from one year to the next: Wide Panel Twin, Narrow Panel Twin, Tweed Twin, Blonde Twin Amp., Blackface, Silver Face... In 1992 Fender introduced the '65 Reissue, directly inspired by the ultra-popular Blackface. Fender's original idea was to produce it in a limited series of 300 units; given its commercial success, the '65 Twin Reverb Reissue was finally added to the catalog on a permanent basis. The Vintage Reissue series is made up of ultra-faithful replicas of Fender's most famous amps: the '59 Bassman, the '65 Twin Reverb, the '65 Deluxe Reverb and the '65 Super Reverb. This series is the solution when vintage is rare and expensive.
