The Telecaster is one of the most revered and influential instruments of all time. It literally changed the course of modern music and set the standard for how an electric guitar should look, feel and sound.
The Precision Bass, the world’s first electric bass, represents one of the most important developments in music history. For the first time, bass players had access to a portable, precisely intonated, amplified instrument. As stated by the legendary Quincy Jones, the Fender bass was “...the one technological breakthrough that changed music forever.”
To celebrate these milestone anniversaries, Fender is releasing a special collection of limited Telecaster and Precision Bass guitars in 2026.
The FENDER 75th Anniversary Vintera II Road Worn 1951 Telecaster (0140122750) features a beautiful Ash body and a Maple neck with Maple fingerboard for classic Fender tone that's full of punch and clarity. The 1951 "U" shape neck is based on a classic '50s profile for an intuitive and inviting feel, and the 7.25" radius fingerboard with Vintage-Tall frets provides genuine vintage spirit.
Under the hood, you'll find a duo of vintage-style Fender Pure Vintage '51 USA pickups that deliver all the sweet and sparkling, warm and woody tone that made Fender famous.
The vintage-style bridge, tuning machines and nitrocellulose Road Worn finsih provide classic looks to complete the package.
