Overview

Manufactured in the USA, the FENDER American Professional Jaguar (0111820705) is a solid body electric guitar that combines traditional and modern features. It retains the model’s core elements, featuring an alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, a short 24" scale, a pair of single-coil pickups, and a traditional vibrato.

High-quality craftsmanship for a rich, balanced tone

The construction features an alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. This configuration provides a consistent, dense, and responsive acoustic platform, delivering thick, punchy bass, present mids, and dynamic, clear highs.

V-Mod III pickups for authentic Fender tones

The American Professional Jaguar is equipped with V-Mod III pickups with a classic Fender character, delivering a warm, dynamic, and crystal-clear tone. Fans of the brand will find themselves right at home. The classic control circuit has been slightly revised to offer new tonal options:

• The Lead circuit (slider switch in the down position) remains unchanged.
• The Rhythm circuit (slider up) activates both pickups in series.
• Two knobs for adjusting volume and tone.
• A push-pull tone knob to activate a Vintage mode on the bridge pickup.

Superior comfort for better playability

In terms of comfort and playability, this guitar excels with a very comfortable neck (Deep C profile, 9.5" radius) and 22 narrow-tall frets. The contoured heel further enhances grip and access to the highest notes.
