It is a hybrid instrument - vintage/modern - both in the Fender tradition and capable of meeting the demands of professional musicians. Its body is made of premium-grade Alder and its fingerboard of Maple, set with 22 medium-jumbo fret types. Its neck is particularly comfortable, with a Modern D gauge, chamfered fret edges, a 10/14" mixed radius and a sculpted heel for easy access to high notes. The combination of three Ultra II Noiseless™ Vintage Strat single-coil pickups and the S-1 circuit, which multiplies coil configurations, offers a vast collection of typically Fender tones without background noise.
