The Eminence C12N has an overall full, dense sound with mellow bass, aggressive midrange and crystal-clear highs, and the Blues Junior delivers warm, detailed clean tones and outstanding moderate saturation, making it the ultimate small-format Blues Rock amp.
Thanks to the Master and Volume controls (for power and pre-amp levels respectively), you can balance the distortion and compression levels very subtly, achieving excellent results in any configuration. If the Blues Junior's original distortion lacks generosity to your ear, it's easy to complement it with the saturation pedal of your choice - there's a plethora on the market.
Finally, Fender's spring-loaded reverb adds a welcome depth effect.
