1959 saw the advent of several important feature changes to the Stratocaster. This FENDER Custom Shop Time Machine 1959 Stratocaster Time Capsule Faded Aged Sonic Blue #R143419 (9237002903) would have been on the rare side, which ups the collectability and cool factors. This guitar features a "sort for lightweight" two-piece alder body and a rift-sawn maple neck with a 1959 Esquire C profile, a vintage compound-radius (7.25" - 9.5") "sort for dark" Rosewood fingerboard and 21 narrow-tall frets.
Hand-wound 1959 Strat pickups are wired to a vintage '59 control assembly and five-way switch. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
