Fender Custom Shop 1960 Telecaster Masterbuilt Dale Wilson #CZ547696 - heavy relic aged vintage white

The FENDER Custom Shop Telecaster 1960 Masterbuilt MBDW #CZ547696 (9218001478) solid body electric guitar was designed and built from the ground up by master luthier Dale Wilson. It's certainly a classy instrument, absolutely beyond reproach, with great collector's potential.

It features a two-piece "sort for lightweight" Alder body, a "plain grain" Maple neck, a AAA "sort for dark" Rosewood fingerboard (60s Style Oval C profile, radius 9.5") and Custom Shop Hand-wound '63 Nocaster pickups, supplied with hardshell case, strap and Fender Custom Shop certificate of authenticity. Dale Wilson joined Fender in 2003, moved to the Custom Shop in 2005 and became Master Builder in 2011.

Building guitars has been the Californian's passion since childhood. Right out of high school in the late 1980s, he joined a small music store, where he carried out his first repairs and modifications. He then spent some time at Dobro and Rickenbacker before moving on to Fender, where he got his first taste of Guild, Gretsch and Benedetto guitars, before beginning his apprenticeship with Custom Shop Master Builders. He enjoys designing singular models, such as his famous Resophonic Thinline Telecaster®. He designed five guitars that were a huge success at the 2011 NAMM Show, earning him the honorary title of Master Builder.
