Fender Custom Shop 1963 Telecaster #R143447 - black over hle gold

Based on a "1963 Telecaster Base Model" die, the FENDER Custom Shop 1963 Telecaster Relic Black Over HLE Gold #R143447 (9237003352) solid body electric guitar is a reinterpretation of a distinctive Telecaster from the mid-1960s. This solid body electric guitar ideally combines a majority of vintage and contemporary features.
It features an alder body, AAA "sort for dark" rosewood fingerboard, 60's Oval C neck profile, 9.5" radius and Custom Shop '63 Tele pickups. Sold with Fender Custom Shop hardshell case and certificate of authenticity. Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster guitars are timeless, referential. They are an integral part of the history of amplified music, having contributed amply to its expansion and democratization. The ideal would be to be the proud owner of an original example from the 50s or 60s, but the price of vintage examples is so high that it is difficult for anyone to gain access to them. Concerning the Relic finish: the dealers present at NAMM 1995 were totally blown away by the level of realism of the first two Relic models that Fender presented to them that year. Most mistook them for genuine Fender originals (a '51 Nocaster and a '56 Mary Kaye Stratocaster).
The Fender "Relic" ageing process has now become an integral part of Custom Shop sales.
