Signature electric guitar

The FENDER Custom Shop Ariel Posen Stratocaster (9235700015) was imagined by the Canadian slide guitar virtuoso whose unique style incorporates elements of Americana, Soul, R&B and The Beatles-style Pop. Rolling Stone magazine called him a "modern-day guitar hero". He is considered a direct descendant of Ry Cooder and Sonny Landreth.

The Ariel Posen Stratocaster combines the characteristics of his two favorite guitars: a Custom Shop 1968 Stratocaster for the lutherie, and a Jazzmaster for the AP-90 pickups designed by Tim Shaw. As Ariel Posen is particularly fond of baritone guitars, they are capable of adapting to tunings lower than the standard. The control circuit has been simplified, with volume, tone and a three-position selector switch. The cupcake-style knobs are inspired by those on sixties Harmony guitars.
