Fender Dual Mag II Stratocaster Josefina HW Set

Hand-wound in the Fender® Custom Shop by Josefina Campos, Dual-Mag II pickups for Strat® produce a balanced tone, with crystal-clear highs and rich, balanced lows, thanks to a mix of Alnico 2 and 5 magnets. They feature unbeveled Alnico 5 magnets for the low E to G strings, and hand-beveled Alnico 2 magnets for the high B and E strings. Each pickup is wrapped in copper shielding tape to reduce noise.

Their customized layout, with an offset "low G" magnet, ensures a smooth transition between wired and smooth strings. The Alnico 5 magnet under the G string gives it optimum tone, while the Alnico 2 magnets on the high B and E strings are slightly higher than on vintage models for better balance between the strings. The Dual-Mag II pickup for Strat® lives up to its name: its two magnets deliver a sound of exceptional clarity and balance.
