Str shape electric guitar
Introduced in 2005, the Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster Maple is a solid body electric guitar of almost Custom Shop quality, with a vintage temperament and notably equipped with Fender Specially Voiced Eric Johnson pickups.
Knowing Eric Johnson's exacting standards (he even measures the intensity of the batteries he places in his effect pedals), Fender has left nothing to chance in the design of this signature model. This Stratocaster has authentic vintage character and has been thought through to the smallest detail to resemble the Vintage model the artist plays on stage and in the studio.
The neck is made of solid Quartersawn' Maple: this method of cutting the planks from the trunk ensures lasting stability of the cut piece, particularly beneficial for guitar necks and fingerboards. Delivered in a Fender Deluxe Blonde Hardshell Case Eric Johnson (born August 17, 1954 in Austin-Texas) is a guitarist renowned for his instrumental Rock style incorporating Jazz, Fusion, New Age, Gospel or Country flavors with great finesse. He is also an accomplished singer and pianist. Guitar Player magazine has called him "one of the most respected guitarists on the planet". He was honored for his superb album 'Ah Via Musicom' in 1990, and in 1991 won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for his song "Cliffs of Dover", where he demonstrated his technical skills in the service of breathtaking musicality.
