Thunderbolt audio interface

The features both DigiLink and Thunderbolt connectors, so it's now easier than ever to switch from Pro Tools | HD to a native audio/Midi sequencer without having to reconfigure the interface's option boards. Like all Red Series interfaces, the 16Line offers exceptional latency levels.

The high-performance audio converters offer a dynamic range of 118 dB input and 121 dB output. They have been specially calibrated to provide the best balance of sound quality, dynamics and conversion latency. Red's ultra-low latency completely transforms your workflow. If you're used to handling different mixes (one for input monitoring and overdubs, the other with the sequencer for playback), it's now entirely possible to do your software mix with your sequencer for input levels, headphones, overdubs and mixing in the same session with all of your plug-ins as inserts.

The Red 16Line has 16 D-sub line inputs, 16 line outputs and 2 monitor outputs. The 2 digitally controlled mic preamps offer up to 63dB of ultra-clean gain, with stereo link, individual phantom power, high-pass filter, polarity and air mode, the signature sound of the classic Focusrite ISA preamp transformer. With a 2-port Dante card, you can expand your studio over Ethernet for more channels at higher sample rates, anywhere in your network, with low latency and lower cost.
