FREE THE TONE 's compact Cosmic Wave CW-1Y Multiple Filtering Delay is an outstanding programmable digital delay that's not only extremely powerful and flexible, but also creative and musical. The CW-1Y features stereo inputs and outputs, a high-quality buffer, a plethora of connectors, MIDI functions and editable/saveable presets.
Controls include tap tempo, two presets accessible directly by foot, a parameter display and four potentiometers for adjusting mix, feedback, tone and delay time. Each potentiometer can also be used to adjust the parameters of the current preset, displayed on the menu pages.

Cosmic Wave can be compared to an effect such as Strymon El Capistan, in a psychedelic rather than vintage spirit. It allows you to modulate and even destructure your sound in a way that few processors are capable of. You can assign five parameters to each preset, and you'll also have a Bit-Crusher (from 24-bit to 8-bit) and/or Reverse delay effect at hand. You can adjust Pre-Delay, Kill-Dry and activate or deactivate Trail mode for each program separately.
